Before Kaye Mishel Photos had a name, there was just a girl with a camera — curious about the world and collecting little pieces of life one photo at a time.
From childhood adventures and road trips to flowers after the rain, quiet details, and moments most people walk right past… my camera has always been about noticing the things worth remembering.
In 2011, I bought the camera that would follow me through the next chapter — families, milestones, celebrations, and seasons of figuring out where my eye truly belonged.
Over the years, I realized my favorite photographs weren’t always the perfectly posed ones. They were the in-between moments — the tiny details, genuine connections, and stories already unfolding.
Now rooted along the North Carolina coast, Kaye Mishel Photos has grown into visual storytelling for brands + life — documenting passionate makers, meaningful milestones, creative portraits, and coastal moments worth remembering.
My goal has always been simple:
notice the little things.
The hands creating, the laughter between moments, the details someone poured their heart into, the ordinary pieces of life that become memories.
Because every story deserves to be seen.
