We are a family sanctuary and creative studio designed to nurture growth, connection, and resilience. Here, children discover, parents breathe, and families grow together.
With us, every class, gathering, and story is crafted with intention — balancing play, development, and soul-deep connection.
Partnered with my husband, Richard Hernandez, Veteran Educator & Consultant. The “Rook” behind our name and the steady heart that helps keep our vision rooted.

Hey, everyone!
We wanted to introduce ourselves and tell you a little bit about how we got started!
Rook & Fern Co. was dreamed up by my husband, Richard, and me — a blend of his grounded, creative energy and my deep love for connection, play, and storytelling. I started Rook & Fern because I believe growth begins in the small, tender moments, you know, the ones that shape how we connect, play, and love. With a background in child development and a heart for families, I help parents and children find calm, confidence, and connection through play and body-based awareness. Together, we’ve built a space rooted in love, place, and purpose — where families can slow down, reconnect, and grow strong from the inside out.
